NOUVEAU SHOWCASE: STUDENT EXHIBITION EVENT

The UCT Student Showcase was a contemporary student-led exhibition hosted by Nouveau Showcase, dedicated to presenting emerging artistic voices from the University of Cape Town. The exhibition featured a curated selection of artworks by Dimpho Phuti and Khomo Phetla, highlighting their artistic development, experimentation, and evolving creative expression.

The UCT Student Showcase successfully fulfilled its role as a developmental platform for emerging artists, offering a meaningful introduction to professional exhibition practice. Both Dimpho Phuti and Khomo Phetla demonstrated strong conceptual curiosity and a willingness to experiment with form, medium, and visual language.
